Opening Cairo International Art District 2025
The 5th edition of the Cairo International Art District (CIAD) has officially opened its doors across a selection of Downtown Cairo’s iconic heritage venues, bringing together 160 artists from Egypt and around the world.
Organized by Art D’Égypte by Culturvator, the 2025 edition runs from October 12 to November 16, featuring seven exhibitions hosted at the Shourbagy Building, Kodak Passageway, Villa Victoria, Villa Violette, and Welad El Balad, presented in partnership with Al Ismaelia for Real Estate Investment.
This year’s edition further underscores Egypt’s rising stature as a regional cultural hub, with South Korea named Guest Country of Honor in celebration of 30 years of diplomatic relations. Participating artists represent a diverse global spectrum, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Italy, Argentina, Germany, and Brazil, alongside prominent Egyptian artists such as Amr El Nagmi, Mohamed Banawy, and Riham El Adl.
The opening ceremony welcomed ambassadors, cultural leaders, and contemporary art enthusiasts, reinforcing the ongoin.
