The 9th Edition of Down Town Contemporary Art Festival (D-CAF)
Co-founded by Al Ismaelia and Orient Productions, D-CAF returned to Downtown Cairo for its 9th edition from October 1–22 after a two-year pause, bringing Egypt’s first multi-disciplinary contemporary arts festival back to life. Spread across 12 iconic venues, including El Shourbagy Building, Consoleya, and Rawabet, the festival featured global artists across music, performing arts, visual arts, and new media, highlighting Downtown’s rich social and architectural heritage. Through D-CAF and its wider Art & Culture initiatives, Al Ismaelia continues to strengthen community identity and reinforce Downtown Cairo as the vibrant cultural heart of the capital.
