16 Days of Activism Community Festival

Al Ismaelia hosted the 16 Days of Activism Community Festival in collaboration with What Women Want magazine from November 27 to December 1, 2024. Held across iconic venues including Cinema Radio, the Factory, and the Warehouse, the festival brought together art, talks, panels, films, and theatre to empower women and support survivors of Gender-Based Violence. Through immersive exhibitions, workshops, and storytelling, the program explored themes such as cultural upbringing, fragile masculinity, and the challenges faced by women in society, creating a powerful platform for dialogue and advocacy in Downtown Cairo.
