In collaboration with The Embassy of Denmark in Egypt, Al Ismaelia for Real Estate Investment hosted a talk about food waste and food loss on the rooftop of La Viennoise. Rasmus Erichsen from Stop Spild Lokalt presented his initiative, which he started four years ago, and is now a big non-profit organization in Denmark. The presentation was followed by a panel discussion with two participants from Cairo, Dr Hala Barakat, Right to Food and Food Sovereignty and Moustafa Moustafa Elrefaey from Zooba.

In a world with limited resources, it is necessary to focus on sustainable consumption methods. That is why everyone along the food chain, from producer to consumer, has a role to play in reducing food waste.
