History

An engaging and versatile co-working space

Located at 5 Al Fadl street, Consoleya, which was once The French Consulate, reflects a neo‐baroque architectural style, infused with minimal eclecticism. The building was moved from Galal Street in Azbakeya to its current location in 1925, when French architect Paul-Conin Pastour was assigned for the construction of the existing building. The result was a four-story gem, boasting a spacious garage, and an elegant rooftop.

The Process

Restoration Process

In 2014, Al Ismaelia for Real Estate Investment acquired the French Consulate and restored it in 2019 to introduce Downtown’s co-working space “Consoleya”, catering to the growing segment of passionate entrepreneurs in Egypt, while providing an engaging and versatile workspace environment. It also hosts a vibrant mix of corporate, cultural, and creative events.
