Job Summary/ Purpose/ Definition:
The Facility Engineer reports directly to Senior Facility Engineer. He mainly supports the department in organising day-to-day activities. He will be responsible for tickets’ opening and closing and will be supporting the department in work analysis and reporting. As a Facility Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all Al Ismaelia building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural components. You will work closely with various teams to plan, implement, and manage facility projects to meet safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and all mechanical systems.
- Perform routine inspections to identify and address potential issues.
- Ensure timely repairs and servicing of facility equipment.
- Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections.
- Keep updated logs of equipment warranties and service contracts.
- Ensure emergency backup systems (generators, fire suppression, etc.) are operational.
- Manage contractors and vendors relationships for outsourced services.
- Assist the team in writing reports and keeping track record of daily operations.
Qualifications & General skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- 1-3 years proven experience in Facility Management
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Very good communication and reporting skills.
- Excellent project management tools is an asset.
- Very good in English & Arabic (verbal & written)
